You are a Perpetual Tourist is a body of work centered around people watching. The series of sixty-two short (and very short - some less than 10 seconds) videos is the main event, while the prints and book, Longing & Distance: through gesture, give the viewer an infinite amount of time with particular gestures from the videos.
You are a Perpetual Tourist has been exhibited at the Fosdick-Nelson Gallery, Alfred, NY; E.H. Little Fine Arts Center, Charlotte, NC; the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing, China; and in July of 2010 a selection of the videos shot in Chile will be on exhibit at La Maison du Chili in Paris, a version of Longing & Distance was also designed for the exhibition.
