Based on a dream, containing five words of dialogue, día is a poetic vignette of a day, or perhaps the life, of one man. Visually minimalist and photographic, a stark and sublime moment is captured. The script was written in Barcelona, but the video was shot and produced in (and around) Chicago.
día premiered at Transmediale in Berlin in 2005 and has since been shown at Off-Loop Video Art Festival in Barcelona and Tour(mix) in Mallorca.
