Nicole Rademacher is a new media artist - currently slanted more towards video than other ventures - based in Santiago de Chile. Born in Milwaukee, raised in Charlotte, lived in Chicago, Nantes, and Barcelona, she began studying architecture, but received a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2004 and her MFA (electronic integrated arts) from Alfred University in 2008. If you ask her she will tell you that she is interested in communication and thus miscommunication, but really her interest is in perception.
She has exhibited and screened work internationally including Transmediale, LOOP Video Art Festival, re-new digital arts forum, Streaming Festival, Cologne OFF, and Primavera Fotográfica among others. See NEWS, RESUME, or BLOG for the latest info.
